Teardrops

A teardrop doesn’t weigh much
But oh all it holds inside!
It carries the weight of feelings
And emotions you can’t hide.

Teardrops have a job to do,
To bring about relief,
To wash away your pain
That comes from your grief.

They also bring back joy again
And healing to your soul
Cleansing each emotion,
So let your teardrops flow!

For teardrops need to fall
To get you past your sorrow.
Heaven’s angels will catch them.
Giving you hope for tomorrow.
