I do not want to be remembered
For the accomplishments I have done.
Nor for the possessions that I own
And the trophies I have won.

I want you to see
When you look into my face,
A quiet and gentle spirit in me
That my heavenly Father has placed.

For outward beauty fades away.
But His light inside of me,
Has changed the way I am
Backed by this guarantee.

Don’t worry about outward beauty.
We are to follow and trust Him.
The beauty that you’ll possess
Will come shining from within.
