I have a wall of protection
To honor who I am.
My boundaries are my shield,
A part of God’s good plan.

They allow my yes to be yes;
So I can love you as I do.
Honor and respect,
Is what I need from you.

When my no must be no,
Value what I say.
I’m being true to my heart.
Please don’t push me away!

I treasure our relationship.
So let’s walk hand and hand.
And thank you for allowing me
To become all I really am.
