There’s a need for compassion.
Do not turn your head,
Nor ignore another's burdens.
Carry it instead!

For compassion comes about,
Reaching out to one in need.
Powered by the source of love,
And the desire to intercede.

Compassion opens your heart,
Enabling your eyes to see,
Leaving an imprint on the life,
Of the one who does receive.

So reach out to one another.
Make a difference in what you do.
For the compassion that you give,
Will be given back to you.
