Survivor

You stood by me when I was down,
Giving me the strength to carry on.
And in my weakest moments,
It was then You made me strong.

You carried me through my journey,
To a place of peaceful rest.
When I turned my life to follow You,
It was there You gave Your best.

A survivor of what life handed me,
I treasure each day, however long.
For now I know the very Source,
It is through the Cross that I am strong!

The Message
H
ere’s to the person who has sustained a broken heart, lived through disappointments, endured many a hardship, had the challenge of an illness or dealt with inner struggles. We salute you that throughout the hardship and struggles, you kept pursuing. Hope could and would be found by following the love that flowed from the Cross. Be at peace, you are a survivor!

The Verse:
“My gracious favor is all you need. My power works best in your weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may work through me. Since I know it is all for Christ’s good, I am quite content with my weaknesses and with insults, hardships, persecutions and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
