I reached out today!
I saw one who was in need.
I walked along side of him
Helping with a thoughtful deed.

I took my eyes off of myself
To learn the power of touch,
A kind word, a listening ear
A compliment that meant so much!

I gave without remembering.
A part of heaven I had found.
Caring and sharing for them,
Had turned their life around.

For all the love that I had given,
Came back a hundredfold.
In a harvest of great blessings,
I reaped what I had sowed.

For it was in my giving,
That opened up my eyes
In return I discovered,
Joy was my surprise!
